The time has come!

Today is the day!! I get on a plane to journey back in time into the Northern Hemisphere to see all my friends and family! I am almost all packed up and ready to go. All I have left to pack is this laptop and a few toiletry items that I haven't used yet i.e. toothbrush, make-up, etc.

I hope I am not forgetting anything, but I know it doesn't matter if I do because I can always buy whatever I need! I am bringing one full suitcase and one totally empty so I can bring it back to Australia full of Christmas presents!

Anyways, I don't have much to say on this post other than how excited I am and I am pretty sure all of you know this news by now. I still wish Adsy could come with me because I am going to miss him so much! It will be like going back to the old days when the only way we could communicate was through skype at very early morning hours. Weird. Who knew my life would turn out to be one Skype call after the next. Thank goodness for Skype at least. Okay I am rambling now.

Alright see you all soon! Wish me a safe flight!

It's the final countdown!!

It really is the final countdown now, because I get on a plane tomorrow. Seeing as I still haven't started packing it has not really sunk in that I am leaving tomorrow. I need to get on the packing. Adsy was funny because he brought in my suitcases up from the garage for me last night and has already told me that he expects me to fill one and half of them with stuff for him. Which means I only get half a suitcase for my stuff. Yeah I don't think so.

Adsy has also for the past month been making a list of things he wants me to bring back with me. Of course tools are on this list. Not only tools, but specific tools such as an exploding nail gun. Ummmm I don't think I want to sacrifice my good flying name for bringing an exploding nail gun into the country. I may have to pass on this one. I also don't think he is realizing that tools are heavy and I am the one that will have to carry them through three airports. Other items on the list include anything from the Vans store i.e. shoes, socks, shorts, anything. Yes, this I can handle, tools not so much.

Yesterday, some of you may have received an email I sent out to friends about my time while in Texas. I wanted to give people a tentative plan of what I'll be doing so everyone can have a heads up. I'll go ahead and post what I included yesterday. Feel free to make plans with me as I would like to do that! I have already been invited to play Bingo with some of my friends from Houston. Supposedly it is trendy Bingo with 20somethings playing and not old blue hairs. Bingo? Yes please! (I would play even if it was with the blue hairs)

December 3rd-I arrive in Texas!! I will spend that first weekend in Conroe for sure. I may go to San Antonio at some point that first week, but probably not until Tuesday or Wednesday.

Weekend of December 10th-12ish I plan to be in Austin this weekend. The days are not confirmed, but this is the weekend I will most likely be there.

I may go again back to San Antonio from Austin, but it all depends on Anna. I have not planned to spend too much time in Austin during the week only because everyone is probably working and I won't have much to do....Let me know if anyone is not working and we can think of something do to.
December 16th-BINGO!! in Houston

December 18th-I have a wedding in Conroe that I am attending.

December 22nd?? Cade and I have talked about having an overnight bonfire out at his mom's property. Anyone and everyone is invited to come. Seeing as it is a weekday night it may be a little hard.

December 24th-27th My dad has made it mandatory that I be in Conroe during this time. Cannot fight that.

December 27th- I head back down under.

Now things to keep in mind. I will not have a phone or car. I may borrow my mom's phone and car at some point, but let us keep this in mind. While at my parent's house I can be contacted at their home number (which I can give if you ask me) otherwise email/facebook/smoke signals will have to do (unless I steal my mom's phone or something). Smart Cade even reminded me that I could purchase one of those cheap gas station phones if needed. Also, because I won't have a car I cannot be expected to drive all over Texas as fun as that does sound. Anyone and everyone is always welcome down to Conroe, but seeing as it is not extremely exciting I don't expect any of you to do this.
Looking forward to seeing all of you soon! Please do not hesitate to get a hold of my while I am home! I leave the 27th and don't know when my next trip home will be, so let us make it work to see each other now. Otherwise you'll be expected to come to Australia and visit me! :)

It's the final countdown!!
